The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has announced that enhanced security screening procedures will be implemented at all Singapore land checkpoints starting January 1, 2025.
What This Means:
- Additional security checks for vehicles and passengers
- Random vehicle inspections may be conducted
- Travelers should allow an extra 15-30 minutes for clearance
What to Prepare:
- Ensure all required documents are readily accessible
- Declare all items as required by customs regulations
- Be prepared for vehicle inspection if selected
